Things to Do Around Meeker

Family owned for four decades, Rim Rock has welcomed generations of campers and hunters back to the White River Valley year after year — for both small and large game hunts.

• Town of Meeker — At 6,250 feet in the White River Valley. Tour the White River Museum in the original 1879 officers' quarters, drive the Flat Tops Trail Scenic Byway, and check with the Meeker Chamber of Commerce for local events and services.
  
• Hunting — One of the top reasons folks come. We're in an area with some of the largest mule deer and elk populations in Colorado.
• Fishing — Cast the White and Yampa Rivers, Trappers Lake, Rio Blanco Lake, Meadow Lake, or Lake Avery.
• Meeker Golf Course — A nine-hole course overlooking the White River, with a clubhouse, restaurant, and pro shop.
• Snowmobiling — In the off-season, the Flat Tops Wilderness offers 78 miles of groomed trails and 100 miles of natural trails.
